Book Launch: Myths and Ancient Stories Narrative, Meaning and Influence in the West

Book Launch: Myths and Ancient Stories Narrative, Meaning and Influence in the West In-Person / Online

Hybrid: Cardiff Campus and online

You are warmly invited to the launch of  Myths and Ancient Stories: Narrative, Meaning and Influence in the West by Professor Kevin Mills.

An introduction to ancient myths and the critical discussions that surround them, this book dives into the stories of pre-modern culture, taking a comparative look at how they have shaped the West and modern storytelling as we have come to understand it today.

Professor Mills is a critic and poet. His current research interests lie in the relationship between myth and fiction, as well as in the theory and practice of interpretation. He has a long-standing interest, too, in writing that blends critical and creative modes. He has published books and essays on a wide variety of literary topics, from Shakespeare to Bob Dylan, and three collections of poetry.
